Caterpillar on Ragwort

The caterpillar of the Six-Spot Burnet, (Zygaena filipendulae) on a ragwort plant. These moths are relatively rare, They are very beautiful with metallic blue and red spotted wings. I will put up a photo of one when I find them in August. The caterpillar feeds exclusively on ragwort
