Ripples and Reflections
Isn't it amazing how the ripples in our lives cause us to do more reflection?
This is another photo of the Truckee River taken underneath the Interstate 80 bridge. The bridge is about 40 feet above me here. Even in the heat of the day, this area is cool and shady. This is a wonderful place for trout to hide out and feed. The trout in this area are very large and a challenge to catch. Because of this, the Fish and Wildlife Service calls this a "trophy section" with special restrictions on fishing. When I hike into this area, I rarely see anyone on the river. Aside from the noise from the freeway above, it is quiet and secluded.
