A little stunner

Gaudy t isn't but for me, this is one of the prettiest little birds we have caught. Subtle rather than showy, it helps that it is incredibly rare in the UK and the first time I have seen one - indeed today we caught several.
It is a Eastern Olivaceous Warbler - the name being bigger than the bird - but to my eye it oozes character and class. A long distance migrant this has spent the winter in sub-Sahara Africa before returning to breed, probably in Greece.
