I do like this lighthouse almost as much as its Perch Rock cousin at the mouth of the Mersey.

The strip of sand on which it sits runs as far as the eye can see and there was even a mirage of the distant Llandudno to boggle at.

It was painted a few years ago for a Dulux paint commercial, don't want to say much about the quality of their paint but its fresh new coat didn't last very long. It's slightly tatty condition does however give it a certain something as far as being photogenic.
