Bee in my Rock Roses

A glorious summer day! I'm off until Monday... hoorah... so today I have had a very relaxing date with my book and my deck chair.

I'm reading The Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T E Lawrence aka Lawrence of Arabia. Although it jangles my brain to take in all the different names and it is most probably more of boy book, it is beautifully written and I am enjoying it. I thought I'd give it a go as I recently finished reading Daughter of the Desert - The Extraordinary Life of Gertrude Bell, which I thoroughly enjoyed. She was an incredible woman and a kind of female equivalent of Lawrence.
