Tomorrow is the Village Gala Day when the Village Queen is crowned and a parade with a pipe band escort her through the streets to a nearby field where there are entertainments and all sorts. Part of the celebrations include a Scarecrow competition and scarecrows are popping up all over the village. This one made me laugh. The crow head, cross eyes and pot belly won me over.
