Le Tour

Four weeks this evening will be the eve of the Tour de France Grand Depart and folks in this area that means it coming passed our door. Often Le Tour starts outside of France and this year Day1 and and Day 2 are Le Tour De Yorkshire and Day 3 from Cambridge to London before being packed off the La France.

The anticipation for the biggest annual sporting event in the world passing through is everywhere, from plans, and posters and banners, to cycling fever (recreational cyclists are everywhere) and seemingly randomly brightly painted bikes along the route poking out of bushes, on roundabouts and here on a wall.

This is a series of bikes on a wall arriving into the village of Addingham - where the tour passes Day 1 and Day 2.
