Run Like the Wind...

I wrote this a while back for my beautiful babes. Today I am thankful I have the freedom to write and express my thoughts via the written word and digital image. Without the sacrifice of thousands of men and women, 70 years ago, this world may be a very different place in which we live and take for granted.


Be all that you can be
My precious little jewels
Keep love in your hearts
And don't ever suffer fools.

Run like the wind
Don't let your feet touch the ground
Be there for each other
When your lost, be found.

Set your sights high
You've nothing to loose
Good friends are forever
Be wise when you choose.

Laugh often until it hurts
And cry when you need
Don't ever cheat on another
And make their heart bleed.

Be true to yourselves
And honest to others
Remember everyone is different
We're all sisters and brothers.

Life is truly beautiful
Keep holding your heads up high
There is no limit to your imagination
Keep reaching for the sky.

There are no second chances
At this life that you'll both live
Make the most of chances given
And be prepared to forgive.

Run to chase your dreams
Don't ever be afraid
I'll always be with you
And right beside you I'll stay.
