Blood sweat and tears

After hearing that john bishop was to do a night in guernsey during his tour, I got very excited. So on hearing that the tickets would go on sale today, I set my alarm for midnight just in case the website updated automatically as it turned to the 6th June! Then I woke at 1am and again at 4am, 5am and again at 6am when I got up! To find the website busy at 7am I panicked and rang beau sejour to discover the tickets weren't on sale until 10. Phew, I hadn't missed it. So I'm at work and 10am comes along and I can get into the website but I can't purchase any tickets, and no one is answering the phone at beau sejour!!! So I figure I'll take a very early lunch and good it up to beau sejour. It was mayhem! Bodies everywhere but all with a sense of calm british queuing etiquette. Well good job I did. I was very lucky and managed to get my tickets, but i was one of the last to do so I think. So that was my manic morning. I'm still buzzing I'm so excited, roll on September :)
In other news: Isla has a wee bit of a cold and is feeling very sorry for herself bless her. My dad arrived in Washington safely and passed thru immigration without a hitch.
I'm off to weather this impending thunder storm now.
