Delphinium and Bumble Bee

I was lucky to find this old fashioned bicolour blue and violet delphinium in the garden when I came here in 1994. Last year it almost got wiped out but I managed to rescue the last remaining stem and plant it in a special spot in the corner of the veg garden where I could make a fuss of it. This year it is doing well and multiplying. The bees love it.
It has been a glorious day here. So hot after cutting the grass, I gave myself a shower with the garden hose.
