A hidden gem

This exquisite little garden is behind the Great Hall in Winchester. It is a modern reconstruction of a mediaeval herb garden. Although the Hall with the vast Round Table was busy, we had the garden to ourselves for a leisurely stroll and seat. We also sat in the shade in the garden of the city mill later in the day.
