More Flora and Fauna

A frog blip. Finally, while there are frogs in the pond. (have not yet caught the eagle there)….I saw only 4 today basking in this water hawthorn plant, which years ago has made it’s appearance with no help from me. It blooms in winter too. A lot of duckweed this year….must be good nutrients in the pond… We can hear the frogs at night in our bedroom which is quite far away from the pond - I like that.

Book club camp starts today. They arrive before dinner (WITH dinner! :-)) til monday so there will be book and “girlfriend” blips. (One forgot her passport so I’m a bit nervous to see if Canada lets her in! -or more to the point, the US allows her back…)
