Respect

As you'll all know, today is the 70th anniversary of D-Day and at lunch time there was a remembrance service at the war memorial in the centre of Brighton.

We had an office Friday afternoon lunch at All Bar One in the sun, and on the way back to the office I stopped to take some photos while they were waiting for the D-Day service. I love this portrait, he looks deep in thought and full of emotion. He must have so many tales to tell, and deserves a lot of respect - where would we be without these brave soldiers?

In other news, our friend Karen & Andy arrived this afternoon, and came into town with Alan to meet me after work and we had drinks at the beach. We then called for cocktails before heading home, picked up an Indian takeaway and are now watching the TT.
