Hay on Wye Literary Festival

We spent a really interesting day at Hay on Wye and attended 5 very different talks. My favourite was an interview with James Naughtie (from the Today programme on Radio 4. He has a new book out but it was rather special for us as my husband (for my 60th birthday a couple of years ago) very kindly arranged for us to see the Today programme at White City where James Naughtie and John Humphrys were the hosts. It was very special for me but sadly most of my friends don't listen to Radio 4 so it was wasted on them!
