Shells

These are the first shells my daughter ever found and played with on a beach.

I have a video clip of her totally engrossed, tapping and turning the shells, happy as can be. These are, no doubt, the first of many things that we will find and bring home as treasure, I certainly remember my nan having to find homes for many 'special' pebbles and the like. All part of the magic of childhood!

Today has been lovely: weather is warm and sunny, madam napped soundly so I got a ton of chores done, we had fun at play group, had coffee with some friends, later I had a choc ice cream, we played on the beach and generally made the most of the glorious sunshine. I love being a mum!
