Pearls in the garden ! This maple has one & I always wear a string ! I am a pearl lady ! I love pearls. When I get up in the morning (not so much in Winter, but always in the Summer) I put on a string of pearls. Maybe it's a bit over the top, especially in the garden, but habits are hard to break. After all I see lots of ladies wearing gold or silver chains, but mine are pearls.
I once asked a jeweller how you could tell the difference between genuine or fake, & he said to run them over your teeth, fake felt smooth & real pearls were always gritty. I have several strings of varying lengths.........it is my one big indulgence.

And they don't look too bad in the garden, do they ?
