Empathy

I am so very proud of our daughter who has a management position in a program called Roots of Empathy. It was developed by Mary Gordon as a way to teach young children empathy, thus decreasing aggressive behaviors. It is a unique program in that one of the key components is having a baby be the teacher. And, it works! Find out how at - Roots of Empathy. Today I went to a Roots of Empathy Baby Celebration to take a few photos. The parents and the babies who go into the classrooms came together to be acknowledged. There were some amazing stories told about the effectiveness of the program. What a wonderful way to learn!
