Friday Fun at the Fete

It was the Summer Fete tonight at Sally's school. She was very excited. Sweets, bouncy castles, sweets, face painting, sweets..... Fortunately there was a bar and an excellent jazz band so it was no hardship at all sitting in the sunshine chatting. It did clash with Joe playing cricket though, so after Sal had had her fill we headed down to the park to catch the end of another Linton victory which included an outstanding batting display by Stan.

Evie told me at the fete that Honey, our cat, had been in school.... actually in the classrooms during lessons!! It appears that she hasn't been home for a couple of days so Jules went out in the car to find her...within five minutes they were both home again....crazy cat has obviously followed the kids to school in the morning, lost her bearings and been unable to find her way home.
