My Mini Adventure

Dressing up

After a morning at work I spent this afternoon watching the D-Day 70th anniversary on the BBC - so emotional. Grateful... this word is not big enough to express the feelings.

I had to return to work this evening to help out with the year 5 and 6 play. A massive performance and they all did so well.

Here is the hand of a helping parent, trying work out which shade of blue eyeshadow would be suitable for the "ladies"! The selection of 1970s and 80s colours are to be seen to be believed!!

As I work at a boys school, it's always entertaining to see so many of the boys tottering about in skirts and high heels for the annual play. There is always fierce competition to get the female roles in the production... a certain kudos for those brave enough to don the wig, make-up and heels!! Funny... and their parents think it's the most hilarious thing ever when they come on stage!
