All about Dad

A very quiet day at home with Dad and D Day celebration coverage on television as background all day long. Some poignant moments of an event that Dad remembers clearly as a 15 year old teenager in London. Hospital welfare called to check he is ok, charity volunteer called to do some grocery shopping for him, Doctor called with news we didn't want to hear. Niece and nephew came to play after school bringing their own brand of joy. Dinner brought the day to a quiet close with brother, Dad and self enjoying a wonderful meal in an Indian restaurant that we haven't been to before and then the three of us, together, at home.


A beautiful day of warm sunshine, Dad's garden looks nice. I find I am unable to concentrate on anything much.
