Great Gatsby Party

We went to a friend's 30th tonight. A very glamorous theme. The decorations were fabulous and everyone dressed up really well. This is the only shot I managed to get of us. Not the most flattering but you get the idea of the party.
We were proudly and almost authentically sporting my late grandad's walking stick and my late great nana's beads for the occasion.
My work colleagues were very interested to meet the unreserved version of my husband. It was a first for all of them. One of their husbands had been saying to his wife before the party that he wouldn't know anyone except my husband and 'he's so quiet'. He was quickly proved wrong.
