The Tide's Oot at Rackwick

The Current Mrs Creel sits on the rocks at the Rackwick Beach and contemplates the Pentland Firth. She is sittting below Craig Gate wich leads onto Mel Fea - initially quite a steep scramble. This year the sand has returned after being scant the past couple of years.

CMC used to spend a lot of time in Rackwick at her Granny and Great Aunty's house and the beach has excellent memories for her. A very special place which has weaved its spell on many folk.
