A bit of indulgence...

Maybe more than a 'bit'!! Today was another farewell gathering for a friend leaving later this month. She's been part of our hospitality committee and so we thought we'd honour her and take her out for an afternoon tea.

But this was no ordinary tea! It was a tea buffet and oh boy, did we buffet!!! Goodness I wish I had my buffet trousers on. This pic is of my friend Bonnie and her dessert plate. We'd ALL had two plates (prior to this) of savouries and then a full dinner plate of desserts. It all looked so good, we couldn't resist. Don't worry, I didn't have dinner ... that would just be wrong.
