Reiko

We said good bye to our first WWOOFer of the season! Reiko is from Japan and has been with us for the past 2 weeks. She was so sweet, worked very hard and was just such a pleasure to have here with us. She also taught us a few Japanese words.....i can say 'enjoy our meal'.....ittatakkimas (spelt wrong for sure!!!) but thats sort of what it sounded like.....oh hioo means Good morning....anyway, there were a few others but those are the 2 i remember best!

it must have been difficult for her because she spoke very little English and i have such a respect for people who travel with such trust. She heads back to Japan in about 4 weeks time.

After i dropped her off at the bus this morning, i headed into Baddeck and had a wonderful swim, hot tub and shower! then breakfast at the Bean There....and picked up 3 new books on CDs! the coming 2-3 weeks will be busy so i am all set!
