First crop

Our last full day in the house before our Greek adventure and we managed to harvest our first crop. Sadly this was all of it and so it isn't going to feed an army but at least it is a start. All the better with them ripening just after Sam has left - Sam being the one who loves strawberries.
Our neighbour has kindly said he will water the garden in our absence - I do hope it rains a bit as I never have total confidence that things will happen as hoped for in the Ardeche!
This is the view from our terrace which was built last year and it has totally changed how we use the house.
