Apocalypse now?

I was secretly looking forward to the "apocalyptic weather" forecast for today.
I was especially looking forward to seeing the "hailstones the size of cricket balls", tho I suspect the roof of my car was not!
Sadly, apart from a couple of heavy showers around 9ish this morning we've had wall to wall sunshine all day.

As I walked through the shopping centre at lunchtime in search of a paint brush, I spotted these shadows and I quite liked them.

No ulterior motive, I just liked them :-)
