Paranoid that your beliefs are overlooked?

I'm not sure whether the scale of this item comes across and conveys the stupefaction that I experienced upon being visually assaulted by this crucifix...the crucifix in question must have been 20 cm long from top to toe, which hopefully puts things more into perspective! Designed, as we can see from the top, to fit onto a chain, presumably as a medallion, religious jewellery of this size can surely only be fit for a pope, surely?!
