Suck It Up

Despite early morning thunderstorms, I have managed to get the washing out and dried and that always makes me happy.

The gorgeous hover fly appears to be sucking up some goo from the flower bud. I think it it quite amazing close up.

We have had a lazy day, spent a bit of time in the garden and now we are debating what to have for an evening meal.
