Weekend project

This photo has only been taken to show my father in law what we have been up to today!
As my 'in laws' have only just left us to go back home to the snow I thought I had better prove that my new 'old' table wasn't still standing behind the bikes in the backyard, as I'm sure that is exactly what they would be expecting!
Anyway in case anyone is interested my hubby was given this table on Wednesday and it was quite damaged and had a dark walnut stain on it, so when he gave me the table we had a huge discussion as to how to restore it etc.
So I have decided this morning I wanted it stripped and waxed so that is what we have done today, so here it is my new drawing table and I am very pleased with the end result - what do you think Ray???!!!
