View from Steep Down, Sompting

After visiting Worthing today, we stopped off at the car park on the Steyning Bostal Road on the South Downs. I walked along one of the footpaths again that runs eastwards and eventually goes to Lancing Ring and beyond. This view is looking NW from the lower slopes of Steep Down and the green tree contrasts with the paler colours in the foreground. One field has been cut for silage and the other is cereals. The wooded area at the top lies behind Lychpole Farm
