When you care enough to send the best!

An early start to the day with a visit to the hairdresser! Ugh. Then back home for all the usual Saturday things. Even managed to get a rest in the afternoon.

Went back to the tailor for a fitting of a new jacket I'm having made. It's looking good and only a week before I get it. G needed to get a 70th birthday card for a friend in the UK. I can't remember the last time I've been in a card shop! This is Hallmark and the cards cost a bomb. [My journal title is their strapline.] They had two cards with 70 and to my surprise, they also had a couple of 100th birthday cards! Amazing as they would only be stocked for expats to send to someone abroad.

Thank you so much for such kind words, stars and hearts for yesterday's blip! I hadn't seen some of those pictures before and was thrilled to put the collage together and show off my beautiful mum who made it to Spotlight! :)
