Jam

We finally got round to making jam today out of all the strawberries we picked last Friday.
Strawberries, lemon juice and a sugar mountain teeny tiny bit of sugar all boiled up into a pink frothy sticky mess. Fantastic!
There was lots of lemon squeezing and enthusiastic stirring from the Little Misses and we ended up with seven jars of scrummy strawberry jam.
Unfortunately I couldn't resist several dozen tastes - well you've got to check for quality haven't you?!
Even more unfortunately I couldn't resist the polenta drop scones that Mr K made with the Little Misses while I popped out for a spot of mystery shopping.
They were yummy too!
Not a good day on the diet front - but a very tasty day!
