Proud parents

After a wait of 35 days we have some chicks!
The parents are carefully walking around the edge of the nest, and the female has been feeding tiny pieces of fish down into the little mouth or mouths below.
The male has been a great partner so far, bringing in flatfish from the estuary with regularity and apparent ease.
Now he will have more of a challenge, as the female will not leave the nest until the chicks are quite big, so he will have to bring food for all of them.
Rather unpleasant weather today, but hopefully they have weathered the storm and will have a good evening.
