What a Hoot

Whilst Annie has made the most of a real rest day, I (Chris) popped over to the EOS Magazine 21st birthday event. Thankfully the rain abated and it was a lovely sunny afternoon. As well as tea, cake and lots of tempting special offers in the EOS Magazine shop, there were reptiles and birds of prey to photograph. Having purchased a Canon 2X extender, it was a shame not to put it to immediate use to photograph this fellow, a lovely Tawny owl. Found a good panoramic spot on the way home too, near Brill windmill.

Immy is doing her Duke of Edinburgh bronze award expedition this weekend. Suspect they might have got a bit damp this morning but hopefully they set up camp in the dry this evening!
