After a day of contrasts, first tennis encroached by a storm , then windy sunshine and a glorious late afternoon in Camber Sands to meet up with an itinerant group of child chess players, sudden and complete calm in the garden overlooking the wildflowers and the woods beyond, with the big sky above.
