Dunvarlich Iris

I promised yesterday a flower blip from the beautiful garden at Dunvarlich House. And here it is! I was spoiled for choice as to which specimen I would pick and I considered a collage for a moment or two but this iris was by far the showiest shot so an easy decision really, It's been a grand day chilling out with our friends and enjoying this amazing house. The rest of the group joined us about lunchtime today while the sun was still shining. Mid afternoon the day changed though with the forecast rain arriving but this had no impact on the mood of our party. It's a shame we can't stay on for longer. Off to Bannockburn and Glasgow tomorrow after lunch.
