Rediscovery

So we bump into some old friends whilst sitting outside their local pub this evening and they invite us in for coffee, and on their bookshelves TSM finds an absolute favourite from her childhood. Her smile says it all.

So today had breakfast with my South London family, an hour with Aged P, and in clearing out our kitchen ready for the builders to descend, came across a few long lost items. Definitely a day of rediscovery for me too. But most important of all was the sense of quality without distraction. I think that's what it is all about: making each hour of your life one of quality when you are in the now and not mentally somewhere else. Browsing Facebook, channel hopping, and starting six things and finishing none of them - no. Making the next hour of your life a good one, giving it your full attention - yes.

Definitely a good day.
