It was 34 degrees this afternoon! The hot weather seems to have arrived very suddenly. I love the heat so I'm enjoying being out in the sunshine.

I gardened for about an hour this morning...pulling up weeds and watering. The place is looking a bit tidier.

Spoke with Luce on the phone whilst out and about with the dog this afternoon. We are always on for at least an hour and we talked so long today, her house phone battery died! I took this photo when I was sitting by the river, just after our conversation.

Uncle Wes, Auntie Ju, and dad are back from their canal boat trip. It was lovely to see them tonight and hopefully we'll get some more chat at the market in the morning.
