Iris Abundance

A cold,wet spring brings
iris into June in all
their luscious colours

I'm having a bit of a lazy day. I've puttered and cleaned and shopped and visited. I have wild salmon in my refrigerator for dinner tomorrow. My stove top looks remarkably clean and shiny. I've inspected the improvements at the business. I had a brief visit with my daughter.

I was surprised to find a huge flowerbed at Riverside Park that was just overflowing with tall, bearded iris. They won't last many more days as the weather heats up. We don't normally see them this late in the spring.
