'Journey home'

After a lovely week in Hampshire today we returned home to East Sussex.
We stopped en route....again....as we did on the journey a week ago...in Arundel. After a thunder storm and rain in the morning the sun had come out and it was a glorious day.

We had a delicious end of holiday lunch at the pub 'Black Rabbit' which I have mentioned before on Blip. My favourite pub! The Cornish Pasty was very peppery and tasty.

The clock on the wall was incorrect..as we arrived there at 12.30! You will see in the picture on the right a display of very old cameras. They have been mounted and framed and look great as a display.

We took our coffee outside and sat on the riverside looking at the pretty view across the River Arun...with views of Arundel Castle in the distance.

We have had a perfect week...and thanks go to my daughter and family who let us housesit while they were in France. I HOPE to see them soon as it was Easter when we last got together.
