J for June - Juveniles

After the sad demise of the first brood of ducklings this year, we now have 2 little ones, who seem to have survived the most vulnerable time and have protective parents. They are already losing their fluffy baby features and looking like real juveniles. (The tenuous links are back!).

This is one of my favourite songs of all time, even if it is far too short.


John finished the ride at 9.30 after 14 hours in the saddle - I am reliably informed that the pros will do it in about 5 hours! He is remarkably well this morning, just a little creaky and dehydrated.
