Amethyst Sunbird

According to Roberts' Birds of Southern Africa I captured the female of the Amethyst Sunbird. The male also came later but was a bit fast to take a photo.

This photo was a real surprise because I walked past my dining room window and with a glimpse of the eye I saw her.
