Working at home

One of the best things about working at home on Fridays is that if it's sunny I can start the day sat outside admiring the sweet peas and other delights from my mail order seedlings addiction. Beewriter gave the mug as a prize on the last day of our photo adventure in Anglesey last summer.

Tom got a place in the Henley boat - he is absolutely delighted, it's been 6 months since he raced and finally he feels he's back in action. It will be hellish training, and because not just anyone can race at Henley they have to try and qualify first. Fifty boats will be trying to get the 14 places in the race. Realistically as they enter for an under 19s race, this lightweight crew of two 15 and two 17 year olds have a slim chance against the tough 18/19 year old heavyweight crews from the big rowing clubs and schools, but it will be a great experience and you never know…..
