Exposure Excercise

I'm sure Blip has seen more than its usual share of snow photos over the last week or so, but I couldn't resist posting something from today's midday walk.

The frost is letting up somewhat, and the nature looks amazing. Even the tiniest surface has developed a lace of frosty flowers. There was no sun and we were walking in an opaque cloud of milky light.

Nothing much happening here.
It's a view from a high cliff with the lake (and the sun) on the right and a ridge of pines on the left. Neither element is visible, but they can be sensed in a very slight shift from bland white to light ash grey.
I also like how the birch in the middle almost disappears from sight.

Have a nice Sunday evening, blippers. :)
