CALORIES

We went to Kilnsey to see the very rare Slipper Orchids in bloom. We didn't see them as the guided tour isn't until 2:30pm and the tennis starts at 2pm. So we saw some Slipper Orchids which had finished flowering, fed the fish, stroked the lambs and pigs, washed our hands, had lunch and returned home.

We also chose the day of the unofficial Tour de France/Yorkshire cycle race and the narrow dales roads were chock-a-block with cyclists. Fortunately when the official race starts the roads will be closed to traffic.

This chocolate milkshake was not mine; I had a diet coke, though I was allowed a tiny sip of it.

If I go there again I am having the chocolate milkshake.
