John George Phillips memorial

In Godalming he was chief wireless Telegraphist of s-s- Titanic. He died at his post on 15th April 1912 and he lived here. On another note when Bill and I went walking today we came across a little steam. I had trainers on so Bill said jump on and gave me a piggy back only one step across . I keep laughing to myself about this. Bills 81 I'm a lot younger. I thought we might end up in the river .
