An amazing day on An Teallach

An Teallach is considered to be one of Scotland's finest mountains with two munros, Bidein a' Glas Thuill and Sgurr Fiona, and a scary rocky ridge beyond the second munro.

Five years ago my friend and I climbed Bidean a'Glas Thuill but ran out of time and decent weather to tackle the second munro that day. The forecast was good for today so we reckoned it was time to deal with unfinished business! We had an amazing day and made it to the summit of Sgurr Fiona this time! Wonderful views in every direction which made all the effort worthwhile. This one has been on my bucket list for a long time so am feeling very chuffed to have done it at last.

We did NOT continue along the scary ridge ,,,, we may be crazy, but we are not that crazy! My blip shows Sgurr Fiona (on the right) with Corrag Bhuidhe and the Sail Liath ridge to its left, taken from the col between the two munros.
