Weekend, wee cones

The rain had stopped, the sun was shining, the company was good, the golf was half-decent. What a fine morning! Of course I had the odd excursion into the trees but that's to be expected.

We're not long back from visiting my mum and she was pretty sprightly (it's all relative!) and she had obviously been enjoying singing hymns this afternoon. She did slightly complain that all they sang were old hymns; shows you what I know, I thought they were all old. We sat outside in the sun for a while, probably the first time she's been outside in months, just needed a jumper and a shawl and she was fine!

Off to the pictures again later to see Edge of Tomorrow. Heard it was great in IMAX 3D, hope it doesn't lose too much in normalvision.
