Here there and everywhere

Cairo Coffee Corner

This little area is the sitting area in my bedroom. I'm sure I've blipped it before in desperation! The bigger, bedroom part of the room is behind me as I'm taking the pic. The flowery curtains wouldn't be my choice, but I have to make do while I'm here! The other bits and bobs are mine, including the big scarves that cover the divider and add a splash of colour between the sitting room and the bed area. We've got two other big sitting areas in the flat, but this is mine and quite private, even when the room door is open, and where I have coffee in the morning in my pyjamas, check my emails and get ready for the day, after opening the curtains to let in the light (and the heat!). The street below is actually quite quiet by Cairo standards and the big orange flowering tree that Bb blipped recently is down to the left.

Newsflash: that's Bb just texted from Rome, in transit, on his way home to Bcn. The place feels very empty without him here and not like home now. He left those lovely flowers though, as well as a big vase of lilies in the sitting room where we often sit together - the one which adjoins the one with the tv. We're really quite lucky to have so much space here!

Day 1, week 2 of the course and all good so far. My trainer and I have swapped trainees now for the next two weeks. The trainees stay teaching the same level of students this week and move at the end of this week to teach the 'other' level.
