Annie Hall - June Movie Challenge
This was a most difficult film to interpret and I failed to get a good portrait of the couples at this lakeside restaurant at lunch today. I wanted to illustrate the complex relationship between Annie and Alvy. Instead, this image portrays one of the cinematic techniques used by Woody Allen in this film, the vignette.
Vignette, sometimes used to describe an image that is smaller than the original
The image in the glass is not a reflection but a smaller version of the scene, as generated by a fish eye lens.
